About Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara is a compact but diverse park perfect for budget day trips from Arusha or as a stop on the Northern Circuit. Famous for its tree-climbing lions and the millions of flamingos that line the alkaline lake. Park fees are among the lowest in Tanzania.

Best time to visit: June to October for dry season; November to December for flamingos and green season rates
